Nordic Pro-Marriage Network is a non-profit campaign based organisation

Main purpose

• To support the traditional definition of marriage in laws of the Scandinavian countries
• To resist legal recognition of same sex marriage in the Scandinavian countries

The main purpose will be supplied by engagement in related issues of concern like rights of the child (cf. Convention on the Rights of the Child)

Actions
Nordic Pro-Marriage Network is working active to fulfil the purpose and will

• Identify players and processes having effect on our purpose:
• Parliaments, committees, working groups
• Governments, ministries, political and administrative secretaries
• Nordic Council
• Political parties and their organisations
• Other bodies, organisations, individual players

 

• Establish active dialogue with these players and processes
• Give hearing statements and premises for decision processes and public debate
• Establish alliances with players and bodies having accordant views
• Give active resistance towards players and bodies having non-accordant views
• Be a visible player in Scandinavian media
• Distribute information by handouts, web pages etc.

Knowledge -.Competence - Relevance
In presenting points of view, Nordic Pro-Marriage Network will aspire at argumentative and knowledge based reasoning.
